The most common chemical used in standard lash lifting systems to de-bond the lashes is Ammonium Thioglycolate. The perm Salt. This solution contains a lot of free ammonia, which swells the hair rendering it permeable. The thioglycolic acid in the perm solution reduces the disulfide cystine bond in the cortex of the hair.
What we use to de-bond the lashes are Cysteine HCL (amino acid of keratin). It’s a naturally occurring compound created from protein.
After the de-bonding Step 1, the keratin bonds are broken which leaves the lashes very weak and dehydrated. Because of the weakness of the lash it can now be re-shaped – LIFTED
Because of the dehydrated state of the lash it can now be rebuilt with our infusion step.
